Mangel Florist & Gifts

Mangel Florist & Gifts Florist & Gifts has been a cornerstone of Chicago's floral industry since 1887, proudly operating from the historic Drake Hotel on the Magnificent Mile. Our team of skilled florists creates bespoke arrangements for the Drake Hotel Lobby, luxury boutiques, and private residences across the Chicago area. With over a century of experience, we combine time-honored techniques with contemporary design to deliver fresh flowers daily. Our shop showcases rotating displays of local and international gifts, stationery, and home dcor, complemented by expert advice on plant care. Recognized as Best of Chicago 2015, we maintain partnerships with local artists and curate seasonal collections for holidays and special events. Our services extend to weddings, sympathy arrangements, and corporate floralscaping, supported by an online ordering system and in-person consultations.

The business maintains transparency through detailed care instructions and customer support channels, including a dedicated email and phone line. Our physical presence in the Drake Hotel arcade offers visitors a tangible connection to Chicago's heritage while providing modern convenience through e-commerce. The team's expertise in floral design is demonstrated through daily installations that enhance the hotel's ambiance and client spaces. We prioritize quality assurance through direct sourcing of tropical flowers, roses, and premium gift items. Our commitment to community engagement is reflected in social media updates and event announcements that foster customer relationships.
